“Nil Nisi Cruce‰” Victorian Lion Motif Wax Seal Fob

18k yellow gold fob, decorated with a gallant lion figure standing proudly atop a bed of flowers. The bloodstone seal at the bottom reads “Nil Nisi Cruce”, translated from Latin meaning “Nothing unless by the Cross”. This is a lovely example of a Victorian fob and can be used as a wax seal, as it was intended, or worn as a pendant or charm on a charm bracelet. 1.25 inches by .75 inches. Circa 1880.
