Edwardian jewelry was produced during the reign of King Edward VII, from 1901-1910. Inspired by the jewelry worn by Queen Marie Antoinette, this typically monochromatic jewelry style is delicate, lacy and elaborate, featuring diamonds and pearls. Floral garlands and ribbons were popular design motifs. This period marked the beginning of the use of platinum in jewelry making.
