A novelty for the collector, this watch boasts a “Pool” (oil drilling company) logo on the dial where the COSC text would normally be printed. A service no longer offered by Rolex, these corporate logo watches possess a sort of cult status among vintage enthusiasts, with the bright color of the logo augmenting the aesthetic of the watch without increasing the price. This watch has an original engraving on the case back indicating it was presented to Tomas E. Fox, Jr. on 9-1-79 as a safety award. It has been guarded in excellent vinatage condition and is accompanied by the original box, papers and hang tags. It also offers a unique look for an Air King, as it is fitted with an original Rolex USA Jubilee bracelet with 597 end pieces. 34mm. Circa 1979
