French Carved Bone Lion’s Head Watch, signed “Bueche Girod”

French Carved Bone Lion’s Head Watch, signed “Bueche Girod” - Circa 1970's. The piece bears French hallmarks and appears to be from the Gay Freres collection, although it is not signed. The lion’s head is artfully carved with beautiful detail and his eyes set with cabochon emeralds. The center is a manual wind watch signed on the dial “Bueche Girod”. The bracelet opens with a single hinge and has an interior diameter of 2.5 by 2 inches.
