31.30 Carat Lightning Ridge Black Opal & Diamond Pendant - A classically styled and important opal pendant that will remain fashionable forever, the piece is set with an impressive 31.30 carat oval opal. The stone is attributed to the lightning ridge opal mine and exhibits strong flashes of color, displaying green, blue, yellow, red and orange. One could become lost in the brilliant dance while tilting the stone in and out of light! The centerpiece is framed by 2.22 carats of brilliant round white diamonds that continue up the bale. The setting is made of 18 karat yellow gold and designed as an “enhancer”, allowing the bale to be clipped on a strand of pearls. The piece measures 2 inches long (including the length added by the diamond bale) and 1.25 inches wide. It is suspended from a 16 inch braided 14 karat gold chain.
