Victorian Chalcedony, Diamond & Pearl Pin/Pendant and Earrings Suite - C/1880. A Victorian rendering of became Edwardian style, the earrings and pendant are rendered in silver over yellow gold and set with cabochons of chalcedony, lustrous seed pearls and rose cut diamonds. As is traditional for Victorian jewels, the pendant has a pin back and a bale that can fold down to be concealed if the piece is worn as a brooch. The mystical aesthetic of chalcedony is an unusual find for adornments of this era and looks lovely with its floral accents. The pin/pendant measures 1 ¼ by 1 1/8 inches and the earrings are 1 1.4 inches long. The suite is offered with an antique presentation box.
