An outstanding example of mid-century finery, this retro ring boasts a striking design that is both magnificent and suitable for daily wear. Set in the center with a 1.05 carat emerald cut diamond that grades as F-G color with Vs1-2 clarity, the design ripples from the solitaire in brilliant vintage fashion, extending its diamond- and ruby set sections to the edge of the finger with symmetrical, delightful geometry. In addition to the center stone, there are 22 diamonds that weigh 1.10 carats and 24 rubies that weigh 3.00 carats. The ring is made of 18k white gold and signed “Gumbiner”. Size 6 can be resized on request.
For those unfamiliar with this prestigious jewelry house, you will delight in doing a hint of research and acquainting yourselves. Although they never achieved the fame of such retailers as Tiffany or Cartier, they were in operation in NYC from the turn of the last century and were well-known for offering an array of important jewelry.
