A particularly desirable “Ovettone” early Datejust. These Ovettone Datejusts, as they are referred to by Italian collectors meaning “egg-shaped”, were the 1st Datejusts ever made. This ref #6105 is most coveted for its very rare red print on dial and red date aperture, the dial kept in excellent condition with deep and even patina markers. Also noteworthy are the original papers and timing certificate that have been kept with this watch over the years.
